HISTORY
Established in 1995, JENA Engineering has grown from 1 engineer a surveyor and a draftsman to a team of 13 full time professionals and support staff.

PHILOSOPHY
To meet current and future engineering needs of Eastern Pennsylvania region through designing for current needs with provision for future expansion. Project design and construction are accomplished in the most cost effective manner to meet client needs.

BRYAN L. RITTER, P.E.

Expert Construction Management - Structural and civil engineering expertise is integrated to provide expert construction management. Management includes documentation preparation and contract negotiation, coordination of both prime and subcontractors to reach goal of on-time and on-budget construction completion. Mastery of construction codes contributes to expertise in construction management. Expert construction knowledge has also been utilized to inspect and certify construction projects for lending institutions.

Design - Experienced in all structural mediums (steel, timber, masonry and concrete) with application in residential, commercial/industrial and institutional buildings. Extensive experience with foundations. Expertise in construction management enhances design skills so that designs are detail-oriented allowing the projects to be more cost efficient and avoiding changes in design as construction takes place thus avoiding unforeseen costs in the project. Has provided expert testimony regarding engineering concepts.

Land Development - Extensive experience in land development and subdivisions. Expert knowledge of local, state (both Pennsylvania and New Jersey) and federal regulations governing permit issuance and land development. Extensive experience in civil engineering (storm water management, sanitary sewers, construction site development (site plans, grading plans, etc), erosion and sedimentation control). Has provided expert testimony regarding interpretation of regulations governing land development and usage.

Extensive surveying experience including boundary determinations and topographical mapping. Has been instrumental in construction surveying (structures, utility, sedimentation-erosion control, highway). Supervisory experience includes implementing subdivisions of land as well as site development for various projects (structural and otherwise). Extensive experience in researching deeds/titles as well as legal property description preparation. Experienced in easements and right-of-way issues. Has provided expert testimony in matters of application of surveying concepts.

SOHEIR (SUE) KANDIL

Extensive experience in civil and structural engineering and accompanying design experience in erosion and sedimentation control plans. Expertise in storm water management and sedimentation and erosion control. Additional expertise in the field of flood plain study/analysis, including designing of detention pond systems, storm water systems and infiltration trench and dry well. Experience in obtaining permits utilizing local, state and federal regulations as relative to project management. Additional experience with developing grading/landscaping and lighting plans as well as utility connections for constructions projects. Experience in transportation management concepts. The environmental management concepts were integrated with transportation needs to assist in designing the River Transportation Authority, Port of Athar-El-Naby, Cairo, Egypt.
