Union Station

Health Service Building
City of Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania

Union Station was an abandoned train station in the City of Bethlehem. As part of the revitalization of Bethlehem, this structure was to be made productive again. Negotiations with St. Luke's Hospital, one of the nation's top 100 hospitals, began to make services more accessible to people. Therefore, relocation of clinics and therapy services were planned for Union Station. JENA Engineering became involved in this project as the outset - zoning, subdivision and land development approval process. In an effort to maintain the character of the building throughout the renovation process, JENA Engineering worked in conjunction with Artefact's, Chris Ussler, to accomplish historical restoration of the building. JENA Engineering was also involved in floor plans as well as site plan development for the project.
