Animals in Distress

This 20,910 square foot facility centered on a non-euthanizing animal shelter. The organization began in a converted house, but has since grown to more locations. A farm became available which would be able to meet current needs such as well as future expansion. JENA Engineering was involved from developing original concepts to obtaining zoning and land development approvals at local municipalities to designing the complex for the organization. JENA Engineering also did building design drawings as well as building plumbing and electrical/mechanical drawings for the project. As the organization is supported through funding from donations, it was necessary to plan the project in stages to accommodate funding. JENA Engineering was involved in designing, surveying and construction of this phased project.
